Hi! I’m Elvie! Welcome to my website! I'm a transfemme eco-socialist pluralist and Islamic syncretist, organizing at the intersection of degrowth, solarpunk futurism, and anti-imperialist struggle. An advocate for class war and building the material basis for a post-capitalist world. My spirituality is a living synthesis of Sufi tawhid, Kabbalistic emanation, Hermetic praxis, Buddhist sunyata, and Daoist wu wei, integrated with my otherkin identities as a vampirekin, angelkin, faerykin, as well as my past life theriotypes (opossum, skunk, moth). My system of belief is a dialectical weaving of the material and the mystical; the ancestral and the otherworldly.

By day I'm a logistics associate at Harbor Freight, where I study the circulation of commodities, warehouse infrastructure, and the concrete flows of distribution under late stage capitalism. In this position I feel I am learning firsthand how the supply chain works, so I can better understand how to organize and build dual power from the shop floor. In my off hours I'm a student of programming, computer science, web design, and cybersecurity; sharpening the technical skills needed to build autonomous infrastructure, encrypted communications, and digital spaces for everyone. (I'm also currently saving up for Raspberry Pi and robotics projects!). Other skillsets and hobbies of mine include plastic welding, wood burning, soldering, circuit bending, welding, and media blasting. Every tool I learn to use, build and repair is one more brick in the foundation of a post-scarcity future.

I am also a musician, writer, and digital archivist, producing experimental music, noise, metal, rap, ambient, and industrial soundscapes; writing theory, poetry, and sharing my thoughts, and maintaining digital archives as an act of resistance against the bourgeois erasure of our movements' histories. I create visual art and collect physical media: films, music, games, zines, because culture under capitalism must be preserved, circulated, and re-appropriated by the class. I believe in the revolutionary potential of technology in the hands of the proletariat, and I'm committed to hacking, tinkering, and building toward a solarpunk commons.

I organize with the Democratic Socialist Of America, Communist Party of the United States, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Working Families Party, Libertarian Party, CODEPINK, the Illinois Green Party, and several other formations in the broadest united front; from libertarian socialist collectives to Maoist-aligned anti-imperialists; because the objective conditions demand nothing less than proletarian unity against the bourgeoisie, their state apparatus, and their wars. No war but class war. No enemies but the reactionaries and the capitalist class. I stand for democratic confederalism, dual power, autonomous zones, and the unconditional right of all peoples to self-determination, from Palestine to Korea. I also feel it appropriate to mention that my involvement with the Green Party, GREENPEACE, and Libertarian Party are out of a means for meeting the immediate needs of the working class, and not for ushering in socialism through electoralism. Trust me, I know that would never happen with the GPUS or LP.

Other information about: I am a disabled Palestinian-Italian-American comrade, living with schizoaffective disorder, C-PTSD, OCD, and autism, navigating the contradictions of a sick society while refusing to be pathologized out of the struggle. I'm a demisexual and demiromantic lesbian, an intersectional feminist, and a firm believer that the liberation of the working class is bound up with the liberation of all oppressed peoples; that queer and disabled comrades belong at the vanguard, not the margins. Caring for the planet and caring for each other are the same struggle: ecosocialism or barbarism. The earth and the working class have the same enemy.

I believe political work has to be rooted in material care. Theory matters because it helps us name the systems that shape our lives, but it means little if it cannot become rent support, food distribution, disability access, mutual aid, workplace solidarity, housing defense, community gardens, harm reduction, and durable relationships between people. I am interested in the unglamorous infrastructure of liberation: the spreadsheets, repair benches, encrypted group chats, libraries, tool shares, ride networks, charging stations, free stores, and kitchens that let people survive the present while building power to change it.

For me, solarpunk is not an aesthetic of clean white cities or individual consumer choices. It is a commitment to collective abundance within ecological limits: public transit, dense and accessible housing, food sovereignty, renewable energy under democratic control, repairable technology, reclaimed land, and communities with the capacity to meet their own needs. Degrowth does not mean austerity for working people; it means ending the irrational growth of profit, militarism, waste, extraction, and planned obsolescence so that everyone can have more time, security, beauty, and autonomy.

I am drawn to archives because memory is infrastructure too. Movements are weakened when their stories, art, lessons, mistakes, and local histories disappear into corporate platforms or private collections. Preserving media, digitizing documents, sharing practical knowledge, and keeping independent culture alive are all ways of refusing that disappearance. I want to contribute to a living commons of tools and memories: accessible, redundant, collectively maintained, and accountable to the communities it serves.

My approach to spirituality is similarly grounded in practice rather than certainty. I make room for contemplation, ritual, symbolism, study, and reverence without abandoning material analysis or collective responsibility. I am interested in traditions that teach interdependence, transformation, humility before the unknown, and the fundamental dignity of living beings. The mystical, to me, is not an escape from the world; it is another language for recognizing that none of us are separate from one another, our ancestors, the earth, or the consequences of what we build together.

I value comradeship that is patient, principled, and capable of disagreement without cruelty. I do not believe liberation will arrive through purity politics, online performance, or individual heroes. It will come through organized people learning to trust one another, developing skills, confronting oppression where they live and work, and building institutions that can outlast burnout, repression, and the news cycle. I am always learning, always revising, and always looking for ways to turn conviction into useful work.

This site is a home for my projects, experiments, writing, music, archives, resources, and evolving ideas. Some of it will be unfinished, strange, deeply personal, technical, political, or speculative, and that is intentional. I want it to be a record of becoming: a place where creative practice, militant hope, disability justice, ecological repair, and radical imagination meet. If you are here in good faith, welcome.
